One of major, fatal misunderstandings at the very basis of real socialism incarnated in social realism was its negation of the personality and in that context the personality of an artist and his or her freedom. It is, in fact, the absolute opposition of favorite marxists' slogans, found somewhere in the midst between blasphemy and piety: "Nothing human is strange to me" as well as the famous statements that "a man is the measure of everything" or the "supreme value " etc, etc. In the same line goes an other well-known fact: religion and everything connected existed only as the "opium for masses".
