This book presents a collection of 37 graphic works by Jan Šrámek depicting significant buildings of Czechoslovak architecture from the period 1953-1989. The drawings depict not only iconic buildings such as the Ještěd department store, Transgas, etc., but also less well-known buildings from the regions. The emphasis is mainly on endangered or already demolished buildings (Mazutka, Prior Brno, the Cultural House in Pilsen, etc.). The illustrations are supplemented by a text written by Ladislav Jackson. The aim of the publication is to draw attention to the issue of monument protection of domestic buildings from the post-war period.
